Your microneedling treatment begins with topical numbing applied for about 20 minutes, so the procedure is comfortable. The SkinStylus device is then passed over the treatment area, creating thousands of microscopic channels. Most patients describe the sensation as mild pressure. After treatment, your skin will appear pink to red, similar to a mild sunburn, which typically subsides within 24 to 48 hours. You may notice some dryness and light peeling in the days following.
