Pooja Shah, PA-C, licensed in Virginia and New Jersey, performs all aesthetic services at Kintsu under protocols written and supervised by Dr. Nawal, MD.

Do your providers treat every skin tone?

Yes. Kintsu treats Fitzpatrick I–VI. Every protocol is calibrated to your skin type, and for deeper tones that includes hyperpigmentation protocols to prevent post-inflammatory pigment. Both providers work from the same physician-written plans.

What languages do your providers speak?

Dr. Nawal speaks English, Urdu, and Hindi. Pooja speaks English and Gujarati.

Dr. Saadia Nawal, MD, is Kintsu's Medical Director. She earned her MD at the George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences, completed her Internal Medicine residency at George Washington University Hospital, and is board-certified in Internal Medicine. Every clinical protocol at Kintsu is hers. She designs them, sets the safety limits, and supervises the provider who carries them out.

Her story

Her interest in aesthetics is personal. Years of acne taught her that not every treatment is for everyone, and that the wrong one can leave scarring and pigment behind. So she trained on the devices herself and built the physician-led regimens Kintsu uses for acne-prone skin, acne scars, and hyperpigmentation.

Internal medicine shapes how she runs the practice. Treatment plans are checked against your medical history and skin type, not a menu. When Kintsu's obesity medicine and GLP-1 program opens, she will lead it, evaluating patients in person and managing dosing herself.

Not every treatment is right for every skin type, and Dr. Nawal says so. Her rules for which treatments, in which order, at which settings are what every provider here works from, and they include the hyperpigmentation protocols that keep deeper skin tones safe from post-inflammatory pigment.

She is also the provider to ask for when you want lips done well.
